Central Texas Media Action Group (MAG) Briefing Papers
Central Texas Media-Action Group developed a problem statement: Media has capitalized on our tribal tendencies, failed to provide the objectivity that ensures trustworthy facts essential for sound decision-making in our society, and kept us in a negative feedback loop.
Central Texas Media Action Group’s objective is: To stimulate an improvement in the reporting of serious news and opinion in our country.
Over several months in 2020 and 2021, the group studied the problem and brainstormed ideas on how to take action. Out of that work came a series of well researched briefing papers. Click on any of the links below to read these documents.
